A Day in the Life II.

I. They Don't Like Me Much
    Because I'm A Colored One
No, The Don't Like Me Much
I Only Wish They'd Listen Some.
II. They Don't Like Me Much
Cause' I Don't Have The Right Name
No, They Don't Like Me Much
     Cause' I'm Not A John Doe, I'm A Jane.
III. Sometimes I Feel Pretty Small
I'm In The Center of Light Skin
      Sometimes I Feel Pretty Bad
If Kids See Me, Parents Think It's A Sin.
IV. I've Been Berated For My Color
And For the Way That I Appear
I've Been Berated For My Gender
I Go Down The Street And People Stare.
V. I've Been Around For A Long While Now
     Since Adam And Since Eve
Since The Big Bang, If You Prefer
Why Is It So Hard For My Existence To Conceive.
VI. Covered By Padding
      And Cloth And Band-aids
You'd Think I was An Open Wound
But That's Just Not The Case.
VII. I Feel That T.V Hides Me
       Behind A Blur Of White
       Behind A Small Black Circle
People Think I'm Harmful To Their Sight.
VIII. No, They Don't Like Me Much
My Presence Is An Indecent Crime
Since I'm On A Woman Instead Of A Man
        I'll Wait Forever Until I Get Air-Time.
IX. Let Me Make My T.V Debut
      My Request Is Very Simple
Whoever Thought It Would Be So Hard
Living Life As A Woman's Nipple.
